Communications Specialist (Part-Time, Remote)
About STEP:
The Swallowing Training and Education Portal (STEP) is a global online learning platform dedicated to advancing education and training in swallowing disorders (dysphagia). We empower and educate clinicians through high-quality, innovative educational resources.
Job Opportunity:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to support our email communications and social media presence. This is a part-time, remote role — approximately 10 - 20 hours per month, with opportunities to expand responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and schedule email communications to our members and community.
Support STEP’s social media posting, scheduling, and engagement (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
Maintain consistent voice, tone, and branding across all communications.
Help organize a simple content calendar for social posts and email campaigns.
Provide occasional support with community engagement tasks
Compensation: $20 per hour
