Course Description
The Swallowing Assessment learning module includes in-depth training related to the clinical evaluation of swallowing; both, at bedside and using instrumental exams. It teaches ways to implement validated clinical tools to probe different aspects of the swallow mechanism including: airway defense physiologic capacity, lingual physiologic capacity, swallow safety and aspiration screening, patient self-report and quality of life. The module also includes videos of FEES and VFSS evaluations, MBSS interpretation training resources, and assessments in specialized populations such as individuals with stroke and trach/vent dependence.

What a wonderful job of explaining clearly and with lovely visuals. I took this course as someone who supervises therapists developing their competencies and I will be recommending it highly to colleagues and students.

In addition, you sparked some very useful information for another problem I have when you brought in the nature of SLPs to vary a lot when looking at the same information. I'm a new clinician, so can't provide more useful feedback as you requested, however, I can say thank you again.
